My Story

I grew up in Newcastle (NSW), and I've always been obsessed with numbers. 

In 2013, I started working at an accountancy firm, where I learned the ropes of financial services. In 2016, with motivation from my girlfriend (now wife), Amy, we moved down the freeway to Sydney and I worked at a few awesome financial advice firms.

In late 2018, I established my own financial advice firm, Millennial Independent Advice, where I have been serving clients ever since. After advising thousands of clients, one strategy stuck out as particularly valuable: debt recycling.

In 2024, I launched Edvest to help everyday Australians understand and implement the optimal debt recycling strategy.

When I’m not thinking about finance, I’m usually playing Connect 4 or backgammon, bingeing a series with Amy (hopefully true crime), playing sport (tennis, running, cricket, or soccer), or watching the NRL (go Knights).
